If I copy the styles of a column that contains a content area modal when placing the styles on another column the content in the modal is replaced with the content from the modal where I copied the styles.
On a side note it would be really nice if we could copy effects separately.

I’ve tried what you’ve mentioned above but if I do “Paste Style” after copying, it doesn’t bring the content (or children elements) along with it. Let me know if there’s another way to reproduce the issue.
We’ve talked about copy/pasting just particular facets of an element like effects. It’s a bit out of reach based on how elements are structured, but something we are still considering down the road.
Unfortunately I am away until the new year. I’ll see if i can replicate it again when I am back and then provide a secure note if the problem still persists.
