I must be doing something wrong, but I can’t make the Post Pagination element to show more than two pages on my newly created blog layout. Can you please advise?

Thanks for writing in…as a quick note before I provide some thoughts below, please keep in mind that it is always much more helpful to us if you can provide us with a live link to the page in question for your installation. That way we can see things specific to your particular context and provide a much more thorough answer (and hopefully in a shorter timeframe as well). That all being said, I’ll try to provide some information that will hopefully help you to understand how to work with the Post Pagination Element.
First, for general questions regarding styling the Element itself, definitely make sure you’ve checked out our helpful docs article on this: https://theme.co/docs/pagination
As for using the Post Pagination Element in the Layout Builder to paginate your posts, if you’re building out an Archive type, placing it anywhere on the page should get the functionality in place for you and it should work out of the box. If you’re only seeing two pages for your blog, I’m assuming you believe that you should be seeing more? The thing to check here first would be your Settings → Reading → Blog pages show at most value:
This value is used to setup the general amount of posts that should be shown in any given query by default within your install. So if you had this setting set to 10 as you see above from my screenshot and you had 18 posts in your installation, you would have only 2 pages to paginate through on your blog with the first page showing 10 and the second page showing the remaining 8. However, if you updated this value to 5, you would have 4 pages, with the first three pages showing 5 and then your final page showing the remaining 3 posts. So if this is a matter of just wanting to show more pages on your blog, you can reduce this number, which will increase the paginated output.
However, if you’re getting an erroneous number of pages output (e.g. you’re only seeing 2 but expecting more pages of content), we would need to look at your install directly to see what might be going on here. If this is the case, please provide your login credentials via the secure note feature here in the forum, and one of our staff members will take a look at things.

I just check your website and the pagination was already working on the homepage. Please let us know if the issue was already solved.
On the other hand, we recommend using post name as permalinks, please change your permalinks.

The issue is not solved. I can only see 2 pages and 6 posts are being listed. The total number of posts is 19 and I cannot make the pagination to show more than two pages.

As my colleague said, if you want to show more pagination while using the pagination element, you should adjust the Blog pages show at most in your WordPress admin > Settings > Readings.
For the example screenshot above, I change the blog pages show at most to 3 because you only have 3 blog post per page shown on your homepage. Then the pagination works well when changing the value.

Thank you @marc_a! Now I understand the dependency. I thought looper consumer settings would overwrite the default number of posts per page. I did not realize both settings must be in sync. Thank you for clarification!
