Am I missing something? I don’t see the ability to display the full post content, only the excerpt. I’m trying to build out a layout for single post and would need the full post content.
Look for a new element called “The Content”. It’s unique to the single mode of the Layout Builder.
@alexander, what’s the reason there’s no DC for the content? Is it because the content that gets passed through isn’t always text, and might be more complex (e.g. something built with Gutenberg, etc.)?
Right, it’s got to with all the WordPress filtering that needs to happen, and also we need to stop/start outputting generated styles. You can actually still do {{dc:post:the_content}} but it isn’t exposed in the list because it doesn’t work everywhere and we don’t have a way right now to show the DC items contextually. Also, if it is mistakenly used in the content builder it can cause some weird things to happen. The new element “The Content” actually uses that DC tag behind the scenes.
