Possible to make a overlay/modal menu like this

hi there,

is it possible to make a menu like the picture i attached in the secure note?
it would be no problem if i could add bars and content in the modal popup but that is not possible i think.
is it possible with superfly menu? did you know a plugin that can do this?

Thanks for writing in!

The example menu in the screenshot may not be using a modal element. It is more like a collapsing bar. Regretfully there isn’t a feature that can do that.

You may use the Content Area modal where you can add a basic menu, logo images, etc. Because if you use the navigation modal, you will only have a menu and cannot insert any other element.

so if i understand correct, i have to writ my html and css code in the content area modal right?

would be great if such a thing is possible within x pro or a plugin. dont know of ther is a plugin that can do this…

Hey Harald,

Yes, that would need a custom html and some css code to accomplish. This is beyond the scope of our support by the way. So far, we do not have any knowledge of a plugin that can do what you have in mind. We can add this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.

one more question, when i make the menu with the conent area modal, is this compatible with wpml? so i can translate the content of the conent area modal? because the site should be multilingual.

Hi Harald,

You have to translate the entire content of the page through the builder and not just the element. And the builder is compatible with WPML. To give you an idea, please check this https://www.dropbox.com/s/5oq0a5f7s2fd852/CornerstoneTranslation.mp4?dl=0

It’s a very old video but the idea should be the same on both content, header, and footer builders. And it’s creating a duplicate of your original page, header, footer and translate that duplicate.
