Possible to build a 2 over 6 archive layout?

I have an archive page built with two feature posts over six. What I can’t seem to get working properly is the pagination. It looks right but when you click to go to the next page, the same posts show up. I think my loopers are not quite right.

Hi Gregg,

Thanks for reaching out.
The reason behind the pagination won’t work is the Looper and Post Pagination elements are not connected. For now pagination and the navigation element works with only a few pre-defined templates. I would suggest you use any of the pre-defined templates and change the design according to your need.

NOTE: The URL is not accessible through the given password.

Thanks

I’ve tried the templates but they aren’t respecting the assignment settings. I tried adding a looper consumer with restrictions but still no joy.

Shoot me an IP addy and I’ll you to the white list.

Hello Gregg,

For archive pages, you do not need to have a Looper Provider since WordPress will dynamically generate the post items on archive pages. You can use the Looper Consumer automatically without the need for the Looper Provider. As an example, I have disabled the Looper Provider in your Blog index layout. Kindly check your Blog index now and see that the pagination is now working.

And by the way, please edit your other archive layouts and remove the “Blog is being Viewed” because it can cause conflict with the main blog layout.

Hope this makes sense.
