Personify Mogul Blog Post Template

If I go to posts and edit in Cornerstone, the default template is “Personify: Content”. I want the default to be “TM Box (Max Width)” which is set up on the Mogul Terms and Conditions page here: https://mogul.idahoradio.com/terms-and-conditions/ In other words, I don’t want headings, text and quotes all in the text box of the Personify: Content component.

I want the TM Box which has a Content Component of: Personify: Heading, Personify: Content, Personify: Heading, Personify: Content, etc. And if I wanted to add a Quote Box in there, I want that to be separate too.

Also, cannot find the TM Box (Max Widtth) component. I’d like to customize it (add more heading/content elements) and also a Personify: Hero Heading at the top.

Hey @mlbass,

The TM Box (Max Width) is the “Personify: Box” component. If you have renamed this, you can temporarily remove the current name to view the original component name.

Hope this helps.

No. I didn’t rename it. I ONLY loaded the Mogul website including all the pages, and TM Box (Max Width) is what this template has on the Terms and Conditions page. Further, if I add Personify: Box to this page, it doesn’t have anything in the “content” element. So not sure how you got these two screenshots (if you logged in)

Where/how do I see all the personify components like these so I can customize? They’re not here:

or here:

Do I go here and import Mogul to Library (+to Library) in addition to the +Import Site?

Hey @mlbass,

The component element is Personify: Box. It has been used in the Terms and Conditions page as prefab component element named as “TM Box (Max Width)”. Right there on that page, you can edit it if you want to remove or add other elements inside the box,

Hope this helps.

I think I understand, not sure, but this is NOT what I want to do. I want a reusable component. If you look at the page now - https://mogul.idahoradio.com/terms-and-conditions/ - I added a standard Personify:Box, and filled it with Personify: Header & Personify: Box.

I want to customize this and then make it a component that I can add to any new page on this website.

I tried to do it here, but this doesn’t work. I cannot see “Personify: Box Page” when I try to add this to the Terms and Conditions page. How do I customize Personify components and/or duplicate one, rename it, then customize it?

The bottom line is I’m just trying to use the standard Mogul website template with a few customizations. I’m not trying to take my skills to the next level by learning how to create custom components from scratch. I only want to duplicate the ones in the template and customize a few. And the only reason I want to do that is so I can make a change in that component and have that propagate to the entire website. That’s the purpose of components, right?

To remove all ambiguity, I just want to hit the “+” on the content element, and then see my custom Personify: Box Page in this drop down, and add it to a page.

I understand that I can make this “Terms & Conditions” page a template and use that for new website pages, but as I said, I won’t have the ability to make a global change on my customized Personify: Box Page component and have that propagate to every page on the website.

It would be helpful if you use the login info and create the Personify: Box Page component so I can see how that is done.

Hello @mlbass,

If you want to create your own component, use the Component Builder. This is where you make the component to be able to use that newly created component anywhere on the site. Kindly check out the link URL in the secure note below.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much. Is there a simple tutorial video showing how you created this component?

Sorry. I created a new page, added Personify: My Box to it, but it is not editable. What did I do wrong?
