Particle width & drop down menu

Hello there

  1. how can I make the particle for the sublinks in the mobile menu fit exactly the width of the word?

  1. I like to include a menu in the footer. When a user clicks on it (on the burger) the menu should pop out as a column and take its needed space by pushing down the rest of the footer. What type if menu I have to use and how to set it up?

Hi @xoa,

Thanks for reaching out.
Please find the answer to your queries below:

  1. You can try the Width & height options to control the width of the Primary Particle. Please find the screenshot below.

  1. You can add the Navigation Modal/ Navigation Collapse/ Navigation Layered to set up the menu in Footer. Please find the articles which may help you to setup.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

But with values like 50%, the particle covers 50% of the width of the container. Every sublink has a different lenght or width and I like to have the particle exactly as wide as the sublink text is.

Hello @xoa,

Please be informed that the width of the particles goes with the menu item width and NOT with the width of the menu item title. That is how the particles work for the menu. If you want to underline the menu item text or title only when someone hovers into the menu, using the particles will not help. You may need custom CSS coding that will be able to do that. Be aware that custom development is beyond the scope of our support. Any request that goes beyond the capability of an element or a feature of an element will already be needing customization. We are only limited to getting your site set up, bug fixes, and minor cosmetic changes.

Thank you for your understanding.

Oh, that’s a pitty. I thought it would not be that complicated to do that adjustment with CSS. :frowning:

I am so sorry for that @xoa.
