Paralax content

Hi, Is there a way to have content, or a column move vertically on scroll? I guess kind of like the revers of paralax. I dont want to back ground to move on scroll, but the content within a column in the foreground…preferably different speeds for each column. I cant see to find a way to do this, is it even possible?

Hello Riceman,

Thanks for writing in! You may turn OFF the background parallax and make sure that your background-attachment is fixed. Perhaps this old thread:

Best Regards.

Thanks… maybe I wasnt clear enough, my apologies. I never had background paralax on. What I am trying to achieve is to have a foreground element (an image, header, whatever) scroll at a different rate vertically than the entire page. Like the first white section on this page:
http://demowp.cththemes.net/monolit/

where the “01” and the “image” are scrolling vertically at different speeds

and even more so the third section, where the “03” and the “titles” are scrolling at a different speeds.

Thanks for any help!!

Hi Riceman,

Regretfully, that is not possible with the parrallax. But you can try the Effect Module which allows users to take advantage of the CSS properties to create some interactive animations.
Please find the detailed documentation in the following link.

You can also try Slider Revolution through which you can create similar sliding effects too.

  1. Themeco Documentation
  2. Official Documentation

Thanks

Thanks, I have been playing with the Effect Module but not finding what I need. Maybe I need to dig a little deeper.

Hi Riceman,

You are most welcome. Please let us know if you need any further help with this.
