Paragraph Enters not showing in backend and front-end

Hi,

I’m using Cornerstone Stand alone and when using the ‘Text’ element the paragraph-enters (white lines) are filtered out. There are no line breaks in the backend as well in the front-end.

Even in HTML-mode and manually adding a line break
it is gone after saving the page and switching from HTML tot Rich text.

Soft-enter, Hard-enter; nothing seems to work?

Hi Marcus,

Thanks for reaching out.
The content might be added into the HTML where you need to add a <br> tag for a new line or enter. I would suggest you try adding the break tag and check if that helps.

I would also suggest you update the Cornerstome to its latest version i.e. 7.3.5.

Thanks

Hi,

Thx for your reply. If I add it manually in HTML it works. As said before.

The problem is that if I want to change some text (double click) the
is gone.

Also, I don’t see an update for Cornerstone in the backend.

I forgot to mention that I use XTheme and Pro a lot and don’t have that problem. It only occurs with Cornerstone Standalone.

Hello Marcus,

Can you please update the Cornerstone plugin to version 7.3.6 which is the latest one. You can check the changelog here:

Best Regards.

Hi,

Updated to the latest version. ‘Enters’ seem to work now but only when in HTML mode and adding a second Soft-enter.

NEW PROBLEM:
The full-width pages (canvas template) are not working. Content is not inside the container after updating Cornerstone

Hey Marcus,

Upon checking your contact us page on the front end, the page content max-width is set to 1250px. It could be a cache issue on the backend.

Please try clearing your cache.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

That’s correct. I did this manually in the backend. Quick fix.

See this page: https://humanityfashion.com/customer-service/

Still full-width and not inside the global container?

Hello Marcus,

I checked your site it seems that it might be the issue of cache since the website styles are rendering from the Autoptimize plugin cache. I would suggest you please purge all types of cache from the plugin and then temporarily deactivate the cache plugin. I would also suggest you please clear your browser cache and recheck it again.

Thanks
