Page meta tags not linking (ref: 100836)

Hello,

As suggested for issue 100836, we have created a new page, but the meta tags are not linking. We are not able to understand if this is class tag or ID tag issue. The Tags from the top menu and not pointing to the correct section on the page. The ‘About Us’ menu has two links - ‘Our Approach’ and ‘Meet Our Team’. These two are sections in the ‘About Us’ page. When we click on the menu option, it does not invoke any action. Please let us know how to address. Your help is requested.

Hi Cristian,

Thanks for reaching out.
It is not very clear about the issue you are facing. Can you please elaborate on it a bit more and also provide some screenshot marked with the issue or any video that help us to recognize it?

Thanks

Hi Tristup,

Thanks for response. Attached please find three screenshots, these are cropped to reflect only the issue and not the other content.

  1. Issue_ScreenShot-1: This is reflecting the top menu (box for ‘About Us’). It is also reflecting section 1 of the content page (box for ’ OUR APPROACH’)
  2. Issue_ScreenShot-2: This is reflecting the sub-menu options under ‘About Us’ - ‘Our Approach’; ‘Meet our Team’).
It is also reflecting section 1 of the content page (box for ‘OUR APPROACH’). When we click on ‘Our Approach’ on the top menu, it is not directing to ‘OUR APPROACH’ section.
  3. Issue_ScreenShot-3: It is reflecting section 2 of the content page (box for ‘MEET OUR TEAM’). When we click on ‘Meet our Team’ on the top menu, it is not directing to ‘MEET OUR TEAM’ section.

Please let us know if this is helpful.

Hi Cristian,

It seems that you are trying to set up a One Page navigation kind of thing on your website with a few of the menu items that will redirect to the specific section of the page. If that is the case, you need to use the # with the section ID in the link of the Menu Item. I would suggest you go through the following documentation on this.

If you still getting any problems on this, I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Thank you Tristup.
The one-page navigation setup information is helpful, we have been able to get the top menu links to point to the correct section on the content page. Thank you for the help.

Glad to hear that, Cristian.
