Page content not displaying on front end

Hello,

We have a word press page with content at backend, but on publish the content is not reflecting

Expected content with card behavior is as below:

Please help.

Hey Cristian,

There are many factors that could be the cause of that issue. Please first kindly do the following troubleshooting procedures:

  1. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  2. Theme Update
  3. Child Theme
  4. Css/Js Customization
  5. Disabling Cache
  6. Disabling Cdn
  7. Version Compatibility

If none of those help, please provide the following info in a Secure Note.

  • URL of the page having the issue
  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

Hi Christian, We have done the checks list, none of these worked for us. We have provided the information in a secure note.
Thanks.

Hey Cristian,

Thanks for your cooperation. Upon checking your page, it was edited outside of Cornerstone. Either someone working on your site did that or a 3rd party plugin edited your content. Another possibility is if you have migrated your site and didn’t include the Post Meta database entries where the page builder data is stored.

I checked the builder to see if it’s working and it is. I created a test page and it saved successfully.

You need to rebuild your pages.

Also, I noticed you missed to follow the Version Compatiblity checking. You’re using an old version of X. Make sure you’re using the versions listed here: https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

We have restored the word press page version to what it was 6 years back, though we do loose out changes, but that is very close to the expected output, yet we do not see the page display on the front end. Would you be able to pin-point what Post Meta database entries should we look for? If possible, would be possible for you to revisit the site and look at the current restored version of the page? That will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey Cristian,

To learn about the post meta, check this tutorial https://youtu.be/N2tdhr-uajI.

You’re migration also should support serialized data. You can look up articles online about serialized data in case you’re not familiar with it. It would be best to follow the migration suggestion here: https://theme.co/docs/how-to-migrate-your-site

Thanks.
