Padding question in Pro theme

I was wondering if I could send a secure note to someone regarding the sections on my pages. It seems like the padding is off in edit mode. Also, I pasted the shortcode as text but it doesn’t show up in the text box only in edit mode on the left hand side menu. There is a space above the greyed out area that is the text element within the section and I am not sure why it’s there. It’s creating more space than I want in this section. How do I get rid of it?

I will send a secure note so that you can have a look at these 2 pages in edit mode to see what I mean:

Thanks in advance!

Hello Grace,

Thanks for the login details. We can see that you have inserted this:

<p style="text-align: center;">[soliloquy id="863"]</p>

Be advised that shortcodes will not be rendered in the preview editor to avoid any issue with the editor. It is best that you use the classic Soliloquy element.

Hope this helps.

What is the Classic Soliloquy element? Why is there a big space above the greyed text box? Does it add extra space or is it just there in edit mode? I am going to change the image gallery from Envira to Rows and Columns. So if it looks different, that’s why. But the Soliloquy shortcode will stay. I just need to know the answer to the question about the space.

Hello Grace,

The Classic Soliloquy element has one option and that is to select the slider that you already have created. The option will list all the slides that you created using the Soliloquy plugin
Please have a look at our documentation of Classic Soliloquy element. https://theme.co/docs/soliloquy

For the grey box space, It will not add extra space in the frontend It is only displaying in the backend edit mode.

Thanks

Oh I see. Thanks Prakash I will check out the link. Actually Prakash, I read this document previously. I pasted the code in and it was the wrong code that I was given from someone at Soliloquy. It was someone from here in this forum that gave me the right code which made it work properly. I sent that correct code to Soliloquy.

You are most welcome!
