Optimize Avoid enormous network payloads for Font Awesome

Hello,

Any advice on how to optimize and avoid enormous network payloads for Font Awesome in Page Speed Insights?

In Cornerstone global options load type is SVG, but Page Speed reports

Does the theme really need to load all that?

Thanks for writing to us.

If you are not using Font Awesome, I would suggest you go to the WordPress dashboard -> Cornerstone -> Theme Options -> Miscellaneous -> Disable the font that is not needed.

I did disable all except solid and brands. I cannot disable these two because I still need icons.

Hey @ofirdoo,

That is unavoidable when using Font Awesome. There are solutions but it’s beyond our theme’s capabilities.

I’d recommend you consider our Boost service if you need recommendations specific to your site.
