I started to build my new websites with the new V6 update and besides some minor bugs, it’s all going great. There’s just this little thing that’s annoying me a bit.
I usualy go to my preview width settings at the bottom bar and set it to 1920px width to check how it looks in “fullscreen”. In V5, when I do that, then a little ruler shows up at the bottom and when I resize the preview width, it’s height keeps consistent and taking a 100% of the viewport height.
Now when I try to do the same thing in V6, I get this strange bar at the bottom that gets worse when I resize it:
When I use the resizer, the ruler still shows up, but the odd part is the preview height and this white bar that shows up. This happens with “Inset Preview” activated too.
Another thing that I noticed is that with the toolbar on the right, when you try to resize the preview width at the right edge (at the separation between viewport and toolbar), you can easily misclick and resize the toolbar instead (I believe toolbar resizing could be located in the options menu, or maybe in a dedicated spot where’s not in the way of the viewport resize manual control). I know we have the “Inset Preview” option that would solve this problem, but I personally prefer more pixels in my viewport and not having this misclick problem.
I think that’s it for now. Congratulations on this new update, it’s great!
