Not mobile friendly after updating - part 2

This is in response to another ticket Not mobile friendly after updating that was not answered in time and you closed it.

You said the site was suddenly not mobile friendly anymore, according to Google, because the site was slow. That is not the problem, The issues is caused by Envira Gallery. I tried multiple settings for both the page and the plugin but no matter what I try the page is never mobile friendly anymore if it has a gallery in it. Not even if it only has a couple of images. It has nothing to do with the server speed, the images are optimized and are not large file sizes.

What has to be done to get this gallery mobile friendly again, as it was before the last updates? I have spent countless hours trying to figure this out.

Also see my private message regarding that prior post.

Hi Mark,

The thread automatically closed after 10 days after the last reply, and that is what happen to your last thread. Also, there is no image in your previous thread. I would suggest you share the specific page URL where you have added the Envira Gallery along with the WordPress admin credentials including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Hey Mark,

The previous mobile friendly test points out to unstyled page which is a result of slow website.

Now, it says “Content wider than screen” and you did not mention anything about Envira Gallery previously.

Envira Gallery is not our plugin. It is only a bundled 3rd party plugin which we cannot control. We will report this case to the author.

For now, if previously your site passed the Mobile Friendly Test, revert your site to the version that works or to the date your site passed the test. Ask your web host if they can revert your site from a backup. We also actually need to see if the previous version of your site passed the Mobile Friendly Test.

Lastly, please note that the Mobile Friendly Test is not accurate. Envira Gallery is mobile friendly if you look at it on real phone. There’s nothing wrong with its display.

Please stay tuned for Envira Gallery updates.

Thanks.
