Not able to assign PRO license to staging website

Hi

In my account license dashboard, I have set up a staging web site URL.

I then downloaded the PRO theme, uploaded it to my staging web site, activated it, and tried to enter the license but the message said:

“Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.”

This cannot be possible, this is the very first time, that I have ever made use of a staging web site. Please help.

Thanks for writing in! To properly validate a staging site, you must make sure that your license was already assigned to your live site and the staging url.

Please do the following:
1] Please login to your account and assign the license (https://theme.co/apex/licenses). You need to assign the license to your site using this url: https://www.example.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
2] Go back to X > Overview again, and insert the license code.
