No Online Location --> Just Localhost

I have been unsuccessful in finding an answer in the forums, however, if you know of one - just point me in the right direction.

I have 4 Xtheme Pro licenses - 3 are active online and 1 is assigned to a domain no longer in use. I am trying to figure out the following:

How can I unassign a license key from a specific domain?
How can I then use the above license ONLY with a test server on my computer (localhost)?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Scott,

Thanks for writing to us.

Simply go to your Themeco Dashboard license account, and you will be able to manage the assignments of the licenses. Click the “Pen” icon to unassign or remove the assignments for each license.

You will then go that to your site, log in to your WordPress dashboard and go to X > Overview. You can find the revoke link on the left side or in the bottom

For more details about your license, please read our Product Validation article

To assign the license to the test site, go to your Themeco dashboard account select the license —>Click on the Add Staging button then add your test site URL there.

Hope it helps

Thanks for the reply. That presents a challenge. I had to stop working full time a few years back and the person I entrusted to keep the basics running - let me down. So I don’t have access to any of the old sites or domains.

Is there a way around this?

I can provide medical documentation if you need some type of proof to “why” I was unable to work - just tossing that out there - never know.

thanks again

One additional note: I am slowly getting back into things and at present I ONLY want to set the theme up on my localhost. A lot has changed and just want to take the theme out for a spin. Hope that all makes sense.

I have figured it out.

Hey @sgmichaud,
