Thanks for writing in!
To get your issue resolved, please do the following:
1.) Always make sure that you are using the Blank - No Container | Header, Footer page template. For more details about the different page templates in the theme, please check this out:
2.) And then when you insert a background image, you will need to insert it in the section element settings. At the moment, in your homepage, you have inserted the background image in the row settings which is why it is not fullwidth.

I thought your team might like to know (you probably already do):
-when editing a page with wordpress the “edit with pro” button disappears on click and does nothing.
-the button does not appear again on that page.
-“edit with pro” is fully functional on the “pages” page

Thanks for the kind words, do you mean the Edit With Pro button pushed down like this.
That is actually a known bug with WP 5.4 and is now already fixed by our Dev Team for the next theme update (we can’t provide an ETA though).
In the meantime, in the 1) page settings, make sure the Editor is set to 2) Code Editor (see screenshot)

I just check and it still there
That “Edit Page” link won’t show up if the page that you’re on is not built-in Content Builder in the first place.
