No access to customizer and wrong fonts displayed after update to version X – 10.0.2

Hi there,

I updated my theme (Cornerstone is also updated) and I realized that the Cornerstone editor looked slightly different now. That would not be a problem but also the formatting of my headlines, buttons and menu items is not correct anymore. Is there anything I could do without defining all the CSS styles again?

Since I don’t have access to the version from before I’m not completely sure which font I used for the headlines etc. But it was definitely a condensed sans serif font and not a serif one.

Thank you very much for your help.
Christian

Hey Christian,

Thanks for reaching out!

After updating your website from major updates, please remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

On the other hand, to know more about the new updates, please check this article.

Hope that helps.

Hi Marc

Thank you for your feedback and the link to the updates. Amazing what you did there, that’s quite a huge update there. I’ll go through them. Somehow the font family changed from the desired one to inherit so I corrected that again. It seems to work fine, now.

Do I understand it right, that the Customizer does not exist in the way it did anymore? It’s a new kind of solution?

– Update: I’m getting there, it’s all clear now

Hey Christian,

We’re glad that the new update is now clear on your end! If you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.

Thank you.
