Nitpicking the Cornerstone loading spinner

This was brought up at the beginning of this beta cycle but I don’t think it ever got an official response. The previous loading spinner (the circle) was way nicer in my opinion. The new one with the 3 vertical bars really bugs me.

A rotating circular loading spinner is more common and neutral, which I think is a good thing.

Couldn’t agree with this more. The circle was elegant. The bars feel very staccato in nature.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. At this time we don’t have any plans on changing this but we hear your thoughts.

Ok, we’ll just have to live with it then

On a slightly related note, the Cornerstone logo you see when you create a new document type uses various colors, which feels a little out of place since those colors aren’t really used elsewhere. The whole interface is muted and then there’s this brightly colored CS logo all a sudden.

@JvP, the main focus at this time is just on bringing stability to the beta, so any sort of minor issue like this or aesthetic change likely won’t get much attention at this time while we focus on more critical areas. Thanks for understanding! That being said, I agree that rainbow state was put in while trying something out and I haven’t really ever been a fan of it. I’ll see about just reverting it to a standard color to keep it clean, that’s a very easy update.

Yeah, that’s what I was suggesting with my comment about the CS logo there. I could have asked it more clearly, haha. Anyway that little change would be nice :+1:

Sounds good! :+1:
