New Update and Blog Index

Hey there,

I was told that with the new update (a while back now), that there’d be a new feature for editing blog posts with Cornerstone.

I’m curious as to why this is high on the priority list considering blog posts could suddenly become much more interesting if we had Cornerstone to mess with them.

Also, how about a blog template so that every new blog post we create already has a pre-defined structure.

I’m a bit sad that ThemeCo offers such amazing features but is missing such an important one?

Any reason for this and when can we expect this feature?

It has come back to my attention that you can indeed enable Cornerstone for posts but I have the following issue:

  1. You cannot change the layout of the post such as (Fullwidth) or (No Header/Footer).

Also, an admin told me in another post:
"Continuing the discussion from Creating Preset Blog Templates:

  • “However, our developers are working to come up a solution that one can use to design blog index or portfolio archive pages. I am not in a position to share the ETA but it should be out soon.”

Any update on this?

Hello Nico,

We do not have an ETA yet of when the blog and archive layout editor will be available. Rest assured that our developers are working on this. Hopefully, this feature will be available in the next release update cycle anytime soon.

1.) You cannot change the layout of the post such as (Fullwidth) or (No Header/Footer).

Best Regards.

Thanks for the reassurance, I’ll have to await the update.

You are most welcome.
