New global settings page feedback

Hey Charlie, nice work on the new global settings page. Got a couple of points of feedback for you.

  • The button labels are not centered
  • The toggles have low color contrast. I can barely see they’re toggles on my monitor

  • It is not clear that you can click anywhere on the row to open and close a section
  • Option labels are very small and thin and hard to read, and the option values are bold. This looks odd.

  • A visual representation of the Built with Cornerstone badge here would be a nice touch. Plenty of space for it on the right. Even if it’s a static abstract wireframe image of a page with the badge location highlighted to begin with
Design options could be grouped better like how it’s done in the Cornerstone builder.

  1. I’ll make sure they are centered in beta3
  2. I’ll darken the toggle line
  3. I’ll make sure the cursor indicates that those sections are openable
  4. I’ll set the labels to be the same font size as the rest of the WordPress dashboard
  5. It would be nice to get a visual representation of Built with Cornerstone. However, I think that might be take a bit of time. If we have time towards the end of the beta I’ll see about trying to do that.

Good stuff. Have a great day.

I’m in Safari, and the checkboxes look a little off too.
