New Cornerstone v7.0.1

I am running WordPress v6.1.1 with X Theme v9.1.4 and Cornerstone v6.1.4.

Website is https://www.bellafsm.com

When I tried to update to new Cornerstone v7.0.1 the entire website crashed with fatal error message.

I rolled back to Cornerstone v6.1.4.

Please advise.

Did you update X to 10.0.1 as well? You will need to do that first.
Did you happen to get a copy of the fatal message?

Thank you for quick response. For some reason I am not able to update X Theme to 10.0.1. I see that is the latest version:

However, I cannot find anywhere to click to actually update it. Do I need to manually download the new version from Themeco and upload to my site?

It is in the theme section of the wordpress admin

• In /wp-admin/themes.php on your site you should see a list of themes.
• Clicking on X will give you the following popup to update.

I have a multisite subdomain setup with only two site. The main site is where I use X Theme. I checked two locations for the update link/button:

Main Site > Appearance > Themes

My Sites > Network Admin > Themes

Same Problem here…
I get the following error after updating to Theme 10.0.1 and Cornerstone update to 7.0.1 after I want to activate it:

**Fatal error** : Cannot redeclare cs_generate_data_attributes() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/hosting*****.. ****up.net/*domain*/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/tco-video-lock/functions/includes/cs/helpers.php:4) in **/var/www/vhosts/hosting*****.. ****up.net/*domain*/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/functions/helpers.php** on line **779**

@jnlinn Try downloading from the account area of theme.co I’ve never seen that happen. Is the site validated? You might need to give us site access to assist from here.

@xfade It looks like we’ll have to update the video lock plugins apologies. You’ll need to disable the plugin or comment out line plugins/tco-video-lock/functions/output.php:30(cs/helpers line).

I was able to download from X Theme 10.0.1 from theme co and install., then update Cornerstone. All appears to be working. Thank you!

This helped me too - but not after a good 1/2 hour working through the plugin quarantine process and then searching forums… is it possible to add a little heads up to the CS update button to prompt us to update X first?

Would have saves a bunch of time on this side

Although it is not quite possible to show any notification while updating the Cornerstone, still, I will check the possibilities and will add this as a feature request, so our development team will take it into the consideration in future.
