X Fatal Error after updating CS?

I’ve quarantined all the plugins and it’s definitely CS Version 7.0.2
How do we go back to the previous version?

Update X first - but once CS has been updated and you missed the X update, a little behind the scenes housekeeping is involved to deactivate the CS (fatal error means we have to quarantine the CS plugin) and then update X and then… reactivate CS.

A little heads up from Themeco to make sure you update X FIRST - before the CS update would be amazing!

Thanks for reaching out.
Even you don’t need to update the Cornerstone separately while updating the X. I would suggest you follow the below steps while updating the X and Cornerstone.

  1. Delete the existing Cornerstone
  2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
  3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be the latest version.
