Hey Charlie, the new layout picker is nice. However I see a small problem with it from the perspective of a client or just a less technically savvy person. They are presented with a choice of Row, Div, Grid. Maybe they understand the Row, but Div and Grid are more difficult to understand when those can be used.
Could this perhaps become a user role based option or something like that? And then keep the old behavior by default
We could rename Div to something like container if that helps. Grid seems straight-forward enough. I’m not sure this needs to be a preference though. Have a great day.
Alright. It’s just that the Grid is a complex element which should probably not be used directly by some people. You can disable the element for certain user roles in the Cornerstone settings but that does not disable the Grid option in the layout picker.
Renaming Div to container would be more client friendly.
I gotcha. I’ll check permissions on that section and hide anything you have disabled for a user. Thanks for the feedback.
