I just need to create a simple grid that displays the posts with a pagination at the bottom for 50 pages on my website. Nothing fancy here.
How can I do this without the archive layout?

Isn’t having a grid that displays posts with pagination a fundamental feature for grids?
I’ve never seen any grid plugin or any type of grid that doesn’t have pagination.
Is there any work around for this?

Our Grid element can be used with the Loopers to have a CSS-grid structure layout in displaying the post items. Using Loopers on normal pages, you cannot have pagination. The Pagination is only available on archive pages. As to the Post Grid plugin that you are using, it has a built-in AJAX scripting that enables pagination.
Regretfully there is no workaround for the pagination when using Loopers. It is best that you use a plugin like Post Grid or Essential Grid plugin instead.

Unfortunately I can’t use essential grid as it caused a ton of issues with my site speed.
I guess, I would still like to use the post tiles even If I can’t use the pagination.
3 questions here about the post tiles.

I’ll answer your question in reverse order.
3.) You can use Loopers and URL parameters to be able to have a sort filter in your layout. This video may help you:

2.) You will have to the archive page so that you can load the items with pagination. Loading 100-200 items on one single page will be an issue. It can make the site slow. If you use the archive page, you can always use Cornerstone’s layout Builder so you can create a custom layout for your archive. If you want, we can create a demo for you.
1.) Yes, you can. You will have to run a Looper and display the number of items using the {{dc:looper:count}} dynamic content.

This page seems to break my site.
Every time I open it up it gives me this blank page.
And when I open a new tab for any page on the website, the page just times out.
I think there was something in the layout that you created that created this.
Can you help trouble shoot this?

The demo layout is not the cause of this issue. When the page times out, you will be seeing this message:
If you're the owner of this website:** **The connection to the origin web server was made, but the origin web server timed out before responding. The likely cause is an overloaded background task, database or application, stressing the resources on your web server. To resolve, please work with your hosting provider or web development team to free up resources for your database or overloaded application. Additional troubleshooting information here.
At the moment, viewing even the homepage gives me an error which is not supposed to happen. Please double-check this issue with your hosting provider first.

It is related to the page that was built.
The site works fine and then when I try and view the webpage or edit it in cornerstone, only that page doesn’t work.
I am now seeing this when editing in cornerstone when trying to edit the page.

The Free Preset has been removed from your Layouts in the builder. I have saved it as a template by the way. You may need it a layout demo. By the way, the Cloudflare, CLP Varnish Cache and NinjaFirewall (WP Edition) are choking the site which is causing the loading issue of the layout or the category page archive that I created as a demo. If you want to check out the demo that I have created, you can recreate it using the “Free Preset” Section template. If the issue comes back again, you can temporarily deactivate the above mentioned plugins temporarily.
I also checked your other archive layouts. They are working as well. The “Hip Hop Samples Archive” layout will have issue because you added a Looper Provider, the pagination will not work. The Search Archive will work perfectly for the search results pages.

I disabled all 3 plugins and still can’t seem to access the layout.
I created a new layout called “Ableton templates” and set the preview and assignment conditions and I am still getting an error.
What else can be done to make this work?

Do you have a staging area? Please clone your site and create a staging area instead. It is best that we do the troubleshooting in the staging area. This is to prevent any downtime or issues with your live site. If you are not yet familiar with staging sites, please check this out:

I can’t seem to create a staging area.
Don’t worry about it though. I took a snapshot of the server and took a backup with duplicator pro.
You can go ahead and make changes to the live site.
