Hi Themeco Support,
I’m rebuilding our WordPress website using Pro and I need some help migrating our legacy Slider Revolution modules.
The original website was running Slider Revolution 5.4.8.3 . On the clean rebuild, Pro installed Slider Revolution 7.1.7 .
The original database has been restored and Slider Revolution correctly detects 22 legacy modules , including our main homepage slider “ACCUEIL” and our “Room” slider. However, all 22 modules remain in migration status and cannot be opened.
We investigated the SR7 migration request in Chrome DevTools. For the homepage slider (ID 1), SR7 sends:
client_action: slider.upgrade_v6
with:
data[id]: 1
data[version]: 6
data[raw]: true
data[compress]: 1
The AJAX response is:
{"success":false,"message":"Migration failed, module older than v6","data":"revslider"}
We also confirmed directly from our UpdraftPlus backup that the previous installation contains Slider Revolution 5.4.8.3 .
The legacy Slider Revolution database is intact. For example, the homepage slider ACCUEIL still contains its 6 original slides , and the Room slider contains its 3 original slides .
It therefore appears that we need an intermediate Slider Revolution 6.x installation to upgrade/save the v5 modules before migrating them to SR7.
Could you please provide us with the official latest SR6 ZIP compatible with Themeco Pro (ideally the appropriate 6.7.x release), or advise us on the officially supported procedure for migrating these v5.4.8.3 modules → SR6 → SR7.1.7 ?
We have complete backups of the legacy Slider Revolution database tables before making any further changes.
Thank you very much for your help.
