I’m not sure if this has been addressed in a later beta, but the keyboard shortcuts displayed in the navigation menu in the Pro builders look to be showing Mac-specific icons for the modifier keys. On Windows, these are going to be confusing to most users. On Windows, there really is only one well known modifier key icon, the Windows key.
Thanks for the heads up on this. Something must not be getting detected properly anymore because it’s supposed to show different visual binding presentations depending on the OS.
They might be correct, as they look close but slightly different than normal macOS modifier key icons. Its just these will mostly be lost on most Windows users as most apps and Windows itself doesn’t use the icons in the UI. I’m a longtime user of both Windows and macOS and I have no idea what the Windows version icons refer to.
Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback here. It was a ^ for caret notation, but that doesn’t have much reinforcement. I’ve updated all the Windows binding displays to use the same format used throughout Windows apps like Ctrl+Alt+1 for example.
