Navigation in posts within categories

Hi, I’m trying to set a navigation to work within the same category when reaching a post “by category”.
Like in this portfolio:

I use the essential grid to show three categories on my page. If you click on one category and choose a post you will be directed to the single post page.

On the single post page I would like to have two arrows to navigate prev and next and a button to get back to the chosen category overview.

Regretfully, the arrows are only for previous and next posts and could not go anywhere else unless you customize the theme. Theme Customization is outside the scope of our theme support though so you need to consult with a developer for this.
