Hi Charlie,
I have received a request from a client to replicate two types of menu layout, neither of which look to be easily possible in Cornerstone at the moment.
The first type is similar to Navigation Layered, but instead of opening the submenu over the top-level menu, the submenus open to the right of the top level menu, as in the screenshot below. Click 1 opens the submenu; click 2 opens the next child; click 3 opens the final child menu:
The second thing I have been asked is whether we can replicate the next type of menu item. Click 1 opens a child bar with inline menu items. Click 2 opens the “More” dropdown. However, whilst we see 12 submenu items in the child bar, on smaller desktop screens, we may only see some of them, say for example, upto “Food Cupboard” - all the other items to the right are then seen under the “More” button’s dropdown.
Are either of these two scenarios possible to create in Cornerstone, either now or as a feature request? I have tried nested Mega Menu elements, but the layout gets messy and unappealing.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
Many thanks,
Christopher
