My inline navigation menu isn't displaying correctly

I have a container with an inline navigation element. The last two menu items are showing as list items. They are also appearing in the footer despite not being called in. It seems an element in the third container is causing an issue.

Can you point me in the right direction please?

Hi @KMCHTX,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the website listed in your Themeco Account and found the problem you described. It seems some Broken HTML is breaking the structure of the Navigation. I would suggest you delete the Menu Items one by one from the specific menu till the problem is fixed, and the last one you delete might have contained the broken HTML. If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Thank you Tristup. I didn’t quite follow your instructions. Instead I made a new menu. It didn’t work.

I tried hiding a few elements in the header, but no matter how many I hid, the menu was still wonky. Can you take a look?

Hi @KMCHTX,

Unfortunately, the given credentials are not working. Can you please check and send it once again.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay. I changed the password. It should work now.

Hello @KMCHTX,

Please remove the Events widget in your navigation because this is what is causing the issue. Before testing the site again, you may need to clear your plugin caches first since you have installed theWP Rocket plugin.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Thanks. That works.

Do you have a recommendation for a plugin that brings a widget into the menu?

Hi @KMCHTX,

Usually, the Ubermenu plugin can be used to display widgets and custom HTML to the navigation.
Check it out here:

Cheers.

I tried everything with uber menu. It doesn’t display dynamic content, despite the sandbox working for each facet I tried (dynamic posts, dynamic terms, custom content, and widget areas - both types).

What am I doing wrong that the menu won’t display correctly?

Do you have any other suggestions?

Hello @KMCHTX,

What do you want to insert in your Navigation? If you need to have a Widget, you can use the Dropdown element in your custom header.

And then you insert a Widget Area element in the Dropdown.

Hope this helps.

Thank you!

You’re welcome, @KMCHTX.
