I have a project that will require two developers to work on a single website at the same time, due to aggressive timeline. This cannot be done with a single installation of X-Pro, without over-writing each other’s edits upon save.
Is it possible for each of us to build different pages on two installations and then combine the pages?

Yes. Using the Template Manager, the developers can save the page as a template then you import those templates in the final page.
Just note that the developers need to work on different sections so you need to split the page in half.

Actually, we would need to work on two separate installations of X-Pro, otherwise saving can overwrite the others changes, yes?. It appears in the Template Manager that a template can be exported and then imported into a different site. Correct?

Yes, you can import the template to different installations or different sites it would import the layout as you export from the different sites.
