Multi column text component loses multi column in accordion

Hi @charlie,

I know you love these little challenges…

I have created a multi-column text element as a component, then using the short code [cs_component id=“OEwZ3Wm8wn2r1oyJSH”] inserted that into an accordion content so that I can have multi-column content.

The content appears but loses both the styling and the multicolumn appearance.

Happy to share logins etc if required

Yeah the component shortcode is a little weak. The next release will have the component shortcode outputting it’s styles way better (as well as parameter support!). There’s still some issues with flex box (due to possible parent containers), animations, and off canvas, but it’ll be better then what it is now.

Is the the release coming on Monday?

Also, this ‘component’ is effectively just a global block, ie just styled content. is there a way of leveraging the old style global blocks short code?

Yeah the fixes are available now.

The old shortcode is still available. [cs_gb id='ID'] where id is the post id (should say /edit/23 where the number is the ID in the browser URL). We’re definitely going to have a part of the UI say this hopefully very soon.
