Modern Slider Fullscreen video and images on Homepage

With the modern slider, are they meant to replace rev slider? Can I use them with video or images, if so can you all provide documentation? I’m asking because if Themeco has a function that would be better to use than a plugin, I would like to, but is it better to just stick with rev slider for video and images on the homepage?

Thanks for reaching out.
The Modern Slider is an element with many options to get a slider. But the Revolution Slider has many more features to create the sliders. I would still suggest you go through the following link where a few of the complex Modern Sliders are shown.
