Modern events seems to be acting quite odd. I am not able to add images to events. It also wont allow me to edit in the description under the visual tab. Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your setup and I see you’re not using the Modern Events Calendar extension but you’re using a third party plugin (The Events Calendar) instead. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script.
I’d recommend you to use Modern Events Calendar extension instead (see https://theme.co/docs/modern-events-calendar) to avoid compatibility issues.

Wow, thank you for bringing that to my attention. I was not aware, I thought I was using the MEC that was provided by X Theme. Thank you.
So I switched over to modern events but I am still unable to upload a featured image for the events. Nor can I use the visual editor.

There could be a plugin or custom code that affects your Modern Events Calendar.
I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.

- THEME UPDATE
- CHILD THEME
- CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
- VERSION COMPATIBILITY
