Modern Events Calendar not working on certain pages

Hi

I’ve been using Modern Events calendar for some time without issue. I have it displaying events on our homepage at the bottom - https://businessinfopoint.co.uk/. It also works on this page as well - https://businessinfopoint.co.uk/workshops/.

However, I’ve tried adding the exact same shortcodes to other pages and it simply doesn’t appear. It shows in the editor but not on the live site. This page is an example - https://businessinfopoint.co.uk/adapt-thrive/

The shortcode is supposed to display the events under the heading ‘available webinars’ but nothing is shown. When I inspect the page it comes up with this error:

Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).mecCarouselView is not a function
at HTMLDocument. ((index):3050)
at i (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at Function.ready (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at HTMLDocument.J (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)

I’ve no idea why this is a problem on some pages but not others, even pages I have used it on before with no issues. Please can you help me resolve this.

Many thanks
James

Hello James,

Thanks for writing to us

It might be the version compatibility issue or third-party plugin conflict. I would recommend you to please deactivate and delete the plugin and after that reinstall the latest version of the Modern Events Calendar plugin.

I would also suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues.

  1. Testing for Plugin Conflict
  2. Child Theme Issue
  3. CSS/JS Customization
  4. Disabling Cache
  5. Version compatibility

If none of these work for you, please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

  • Admin level username and password

Thanks
