Modern Event CAlendar Thumbnails

Hi Team! I’m using the mundled mordern events calendar. I noticed my thumbnail images in the grid view etc are quite low res. You can see here: https://hybridpharm.com/ottawa-wellness-events/

It shows in inspector a width of 300px and height of 158px

I am assuming this is grabbed from the default image sizes I have in the media setting: https://imgur.com/a/lyFaCz9

I wanted to ask you first to ensure I don’t mess anything up, but should I just change the medium image size to 500 and regenerate thumbnails etc? I don’t see anything in the M.E. calendar settings for sizing but maybe i’m missing something

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Your medium image is 300x158 pixels. It is being stretched out because the actual width of the 348x183 pixels. I would highly recommend that you go to your media settings, Settings > Media and change the medium size to 350x350 and then regenerate the thumbnails so that a bigger version of the image will be displayed.

So 350 improved the quality but only slightly. I reset and regenerated at 500px and it’s perfect now.
