Modern Event Calendar not showing in Cornerstone

Hi, I am working with the MEC in Pro and it shows fine on the frontend but not in Cornerstone where I want to customize the plugin in CSS. Cleared my browser cache already.

Any ideas?

Hey @Effi,

On which page are you editing? I am only seeing this when viewing the Cornerstone builder:

Thanks.

It’s on Start-Entwurf, Section 2
Thanks!

Hi @Effi,

I have checked the page and found that the ID used in the MEC shortcode does not exist in the MEC lists. I used an existing ID, and it worked.

Thanks

I still doesn’t show.
I duplicated the page before and it’s the exact same shortcode. So this wasn’t the problem.

Note: please don’t change my settings when you’re logged into my website.

Hi @Effi,

I used 107 ID, which is an existing MEC event, and it is working as shown in the screenshot.

Thanks

I tried three different shortcodes so far. None of them is visible.
Where does the 107 come from? Because I can see the events too if I enter it but can’t find it in the MEC shortcodes.
Also I need a different style for the events and have to customize the design so the 107 doesn’t really work for me as I want to build a carousel.

Thanks for helping me out!

Hi @Effi,

You’ll need to check M.E Calendar > All Events to see the existing Event IDs . Currently, there are only three events listed with the IDs 107, 106, and 105 . You can use any of these, or you can create a new event and use its corresponding ID .

If you’re unable to locate the Event ID , please refer to the following article for guidance:

Hope this helps.
Thanks!

Dear @tristup
maybe there is a misunderstanding.

The calendar carousel (shortcodes 108, 111, 159) is perfectly visible on the frontend. Works fine with the shortcodes I created for the carousel.

But it doesn’t show in cornerstone so I can’t style it smoothly with CSS.

And the 107, 106, 105 don’t work for me as they are in a list and not a carousel.
