Mobile text settings

I’m struggling to understand a few things:

  • I’m using one image for the hero background on desktop and another image for mobile. But I want the background image of the mobile picture to span 100% of the width, filling in the white space. I’ve tried changing width in a few places without success. Can you lead me to where this setting is? (screenshot 1)

  • Still referring to screenshot 1, I want to change the leading. I can change the size, the font, underline it, strikethrough… almost everything except the line height of the H1. Even when I change the font from INHERIT to Arial, no changes apply. What’s locking that up? (screenshot 2)

  • While I can change the size of the font, it explodes off the page. (screenshot 3)

Hello @ppe29,

Thanks for writing to us.

Query 1

You need to select the element where you have set the background image and set the background size to Cover.

Query 2,3,

You need to go to the element ->Primary tab-> you need the font family, font size, and line height for each screen size. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

If it doesn’t work for you, please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password
  • Exact page URL

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

I believe the background already is set to cover. It appears as COVER on the desktop version, just not the mobile version. Also, I feel like I am making the font size adjustments for mobile in the correct place without success…

Hello @ppe29,

You seem to have forgotten to include the WP login URL of the site where you are currently having a problem. I have checked your licenses but could not find out which site or which page it is. By the way, while I was check the two site URLs, I am having this response from your server:

Please double-check it. Thanks.

Good day,
The log in link has been updated in the secure note, and the 429 error has been cleared. I would appreciate it if you could look into that again. Thanks

Hello @ppe29,

It seems that there may be a cache issue. I would suggest clearing your browser cache, purging all cache from the cache plugin, and temporarily deactivating the cache plugin, then checking it again. I tested it in Google Chrome on both desktop and mobile, and it is working fine on my end. You can change the font and font size as mentioned in the screenshots of the above posts.

Thanks
