Mobile page load issues

Quoting from the Google Mobile diagnostics, I am attaching a few images from their report. Is there anything an amateur like me can do to comply with their suggestions and minimize the 10+ second load time. The strangest issue is that it is telling me to reduce the size of my logo image (header bar 2) wich is NOT used, as that image was reduced weeks ago! How is it possible that it still cites the old image? Should I delete it from the media library and from my cpannel?

Hello Ami,

Thanks for writing in! Please check out this documentation article where we have compiled some of the thing you can do to optimize your site and improve the performance with the Google Diagnostics.

Thanks Rue for the article. I already implemented those suggestions. My question was about avoiding “resource blocking elements, unused java scripts and unused css” as Google suggests. How can I at least delay those past the page load?

Hey Ami,

Before I answer, please note that those Google PageSpeed warnings are common to WordPress themes and plugins and WordPress itself so they don’t apply only to our theme. That said, it would take an extra setup to accomplish what you need beyond our theme’s capabilities.

Those can be delayed using a 3rd optimization plugin but regretfully, we do not provide support for 3rd party plugins, and website optimization work would require hours of developer time. If you can’t find an article online to teach you how to fix those Google warnings, you might want to consider letting our Elite team do the optimization for you. You can reach them out here https://theme.co/elite

Thank you for understanding.
