Our mobile menus for all of our client sites no longer work on mobile when touching the top level links. They open the dropdown but the user cannot go to the top level link. They are using the Navigation Dropdown element in Cornerstone. Can anyone help solve this?
Hello @SermonViewMarketing,
Thanks for writing in! Please edit your custom header and see to it that the Sub Menu Trigger is set to “Indicator”.
If this happens after the updates, kindly check this documentation first:
Best Regards.
That isn’t an option because our sites are not using the “Navigation Layered” element. They are using the “Navigation Dropdown” element.
Hello @SermonViewMarketing,
Are you using the default headers? Please provide the URL of the site so we can check it. If you can also make sure that the theme is updated that would be great. Checkout the latest version here:
Thanks.
I’m not sure what that means. But this is one the URLs where the issue is occurring: https://prairie.ourchurchlife.org/. It is any site that is using that “Navigation Dropdown” element and has secondary links. The theme is up-to-date.
Hey @SermonViewMarketing,
We would love to check your custom header particularly the Navigation element. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
– Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site
To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: How The Forum Works
Thanks.

Hello @SermonViewMarketing,
Please be advised that the Navigation Inline and the Navigation Dropdown are design for desktop screens. Using the Navigation Dropdown on smaller screens is only good without submenu items. If you want more control over the smaller screens, we recommend to use the Navigation Collapsed element instead.
If I am to modify the header, I would have this ways:
Dropdown element
Navigation Collapsed element
Hope this helps.
