Mobile issues Slider Revolution

Hi,

I use the X Theme with Slider Revolution & I’m facing some issues I can’t get rid of with my mobile site…

  1. At the end of my page is so much white space, just at the frontend - in the SR plugin it’s like it should be.

  2. The arrows for “next slide” and “previos slide” work perfectly on the desktop version, but not on the mobile site. They are unfortunately working not a bit.

  3. Also the last line of my justified text isn’t centered like it is on the desktop version.

  4. The mobile menue isn’t always visible, just by scrolling - don’t know why.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Kind regards
Michelle

Hello Michelle,

Thanks for writing in! Please edit your page and change your page template. If you want to display your header and footer, please use the Blank - No Container | Header, Footer page template. Please edit your page and in the Page editing screen, change the page template to Blank - No Container | Header, Footer.

You can find it in the Page Attribute meta box:

And if you are editing in Cornerstone, find the Gear icon so that you can get to the Page Settings.

For more details about the different page templates in the theme, please check this out:

Please let us know if this works out for you.

Hi ruenel,

thanks for your response!

Unfortunately nothing of my issues changes. I just got a bad design with an old slider.

Kind regards,
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

So that page was built entirely in Revolution Slider, Ok, please do the following.

  • First, select the Blank - No Container, No Header | No Footer, this is a completely empty canvas.
  • Delete the current Section that you have on that page, together with the Slider shortcode that you have in there.
  • Add a new Section, and then right-click that new Section and Remove Spacing.
  • Add your Slider on that Section, using the Classic Revolution Slider element (not shortcode)

It’s up to Slider now on how that page was setup. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide support on creating/editing that slider, since that has a unique design.

Thanks,

Hi friech,

thanks for your response.

I did the steps you wrote but it’s not in general the spacing, just on the mobile site. Unfortunately nothing changed.

Of course, you don’t have to create or edit the slider but in SR it works perfectly and just live it doesn’t.
I don’t get it why e.g. the last line of the justified text works on the desktop version and not on the mobile version.

Kind regards,
Michelle

Hey Michelle,

The issue is because of your Layer Area Size for mobile. Lower it down until the height is just enough to display your content.

Slider Revolution’s preview only shows the content of the slider and does not show the actual Layer Area Size. I understand that it’s weird but it could be technically hard to pull that off.

Overall though, your setup is not recommended. It would be best to put your text as part of the page and not Slider Revolution as it’s tricky.

Hope that helps.
