Missing ability to add custom class/ID to page body in Pro Editor

Before Pro 4.0 came out, clicking on the “Page Settings” icon used to allow us to add custom classes, and change a lot of the different settings for a page, within the Pro editor.

That functionality seems to be gone now, and while I can still do that by using the Wordpress Editor, it was a handy feature to be able to make these changes without jumping out of the Pro Editor.

If you could please look into re-implementing this feature, that would be great!

Hi @dgoldwas,

We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.

Thanks!

Hi Nabeel,

I would like to add my voice to this - I’m really missing the ability to add edit an individual page background within the Pro editor. Moving to the Wordpress editor is fine for me, but for clients it’s a bit clunky to tell them to move to a different editor.

Hi Tim,

Thanks, we’ve added your vote for this to our internal feature request tracker.

Hey guys, add another vote for that feature. We have a client site that is a collection of multiple properties under their camps/resorts umbrella. Each sub-section of the site is highly dependent on this feature to apply the right styles to match the branding of the selected property. Adding new pages has become a nightmare since they updated.

Hi @tonalqualityx,

Our developers are already aware of that features requests. Just check the changelog from time to time if the request is already added to the new patch.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
