Max Hero Slider Mobile Scaling Question

Hi guys,

We are using the hero slider from max on a website https://plimleytrading.ie

On desktop you will see the first image has a logo “Hardox Wearparts” centred on the image.

On mobile this is getting cropped left and right.

Is there a way I can set it so as to ensure the branding is visible on the mobile view?

All the images in the slider are the same size so whatever way we implement it should be fine as long as the branding is available on the first slide the other ones will still be fine.

Thanks in advance,

Stephen

Hey Stephen,

Since you’re using a background image, it is spatially impossible to solve or fit the logo embedded within the background image to fit the mobile screen width. For example, if you shrink the whole image, you’ll get black bars on mobile not only for the first slide but the rest of your slides because you’re using Loopers.

The simplest solution for this problem is to shrink the logo using an image editor like Photoshop. That would mean the logo will be smaller on desktop screen too.

If that is not feasible, you will need to create a static slide (not Looper Consumer) within your slider. You can do this by duplicating your Looper Consumer slider and turning off the Looper Consumer in the duplicated slide. This duplicated slide should be the first slide in your slider. You’ll then add just the logo as an Image element within the Slide. In this case, you’d still remove the logo from the background image using an image editor.

Ah okay thanks guys no worries
