Marquee slider jumpy and reversing

Hi there,

First of all I want to congratulate you on the amazing work and progress that was made with the builders! Really incredible to work with.

I ran into a small issue in beta2 where sliders set to marquee and the following configuration:

The slides are very basic and contain images. Even though wrap is set to ‘carousel’, once the slider gets around the end of the available slides it slows down, reverses the other way a bit, and then creeps in the right direction again before running into the same issue. The movement speed is also inconsistent at times.

@Frimatek, thanks for writing in! Have you tried using “Linear” as your easing curve in the Transition control under Options ? When implementing a marquee slider, the “Linear” easing curve is really the only one I’d recommend, otherwise odd things can happen like you’ve mentioned here. This is one of the nuances of working with so many variations in the Slider Element…sometimes the defaults left over from a previous configuration are not always appropriate for your next configuration. Let me know if that helps, cheers!

This is still happening in RC1 - if you have logos as an example it seems to only repeat once and then it does the reset/reverse/contine behaviour described in the original post. Changing the transition doesn’t resolve anything.

I just wanted to share that I’ve managed to finally resolve this issue by setting the transition to linear and setting the transition speed to 0ms.

Thank you @Frimatek
This is the slider solution for marquee. It really needs to default to this for now as well.

+1 for this being fixed by default. @frimatek / @kory’s solutions worked though.
