How do I make the first section in my page layout stay visible when scrolling. I want to use it to create a page navigation menu.

Thanks for writing in! If you are looking for a Sticky navigation, it is best that you upgrade to the Pro theme and use the Header Builder to easily set up a sticky navigation. Check out these video tutorials:

No, you won’t be rebuilding the website. We highly recommend that you set up a staging site. This is where you can do all your changes first, from updates, modifications, or troubleshooting, to prevent disrupting the live site. Once the updates or modifications are performing smoothly as expected, you can then push these updates/modifications to the live site.
