how can i make a page more mobile responsive. I have some text boxes that cut off words…the regular laptop looks great but mobile is a bit off.

I checked your site it seems that you have set the padding-right and custom min-width of the section and column respectively.
I would suggest you go to the section —>Padding —>Click on the Right—>set the padding for small devices.
You need to go to the column and then set the min-width as auto for the small device.
