Major X functionality issues

Dear world,

I am an absolute rookie in website building and had the terrible task to build something quick and functional. Now the troubles start - wordpress doesn’t allow me to install any of the required plugins, therefore I cannot use the features of the theme.

It looks alright, I wanted to switch the recent design over to this one But simply nothing is possible. I don’t even see customization features of the theme right now.

My attempts of checking the permissions on the FTP server were without success - I don’t know how to make it work. Is there a way somebody could check the setup? Even installing and running a backup plugin didn’t work, so I am literally stuck.

Your WordPress file permissions do not allow plugins to be installed.
