Looper content from URL passback variable

Hi again!

I’m really putting your team through the wringer this week, I appreciate your humoring me lol.

In this use case (and honestly for quite a few future use cases), I would like to populate a page that’s acting as a post template built exactly the way I want, by ideally using a URL passback like so:

…then use the passback to feed a looper provider.

This is so that the onsite navigation page can be displayed in a way that makes sense for the site flow, however the actual post template can be adjusted as a start point landing page for SEM/PPC purposes; all while making it easy for a client to implement and manage themselves.

I achieved a similar effect (utilizing the power of Cornerstone on posts) by creating global blocks and calling them in the actual post template code, however that didn’t achieve the “integrated separation” I was looking for.

I found random forum posts describing GET and variables, but none that mention Loopers sadly; if I overlooked some documentation somewhere then feel free to set me straight!

Hello @Rule72,

Thanks for writing in!

You can use the Query String and then access the URL parameters using the Query Vars dynamic content.

Best Regards.

Thanks! I hadn’t explored that specific looper feature, good to know.

You’re welcome.
