Looper Bug? Changing slug of product category

Hey guys, I’m not sure if this is a bug or just a user error, but I’ve been struggling with the following already for the 2nd day now.

So I created a looper that was working how I wanted. The looper iterates over the products in my product categories.
I changed one of the slugs of my categories and since then this category is not showing up anymore in my original looper. The products within the category are there.

And if I set these products to one of the older categories they also show up.

When I create an entirely new category and put the product in there it is also not showing up.

As far as my knowledge goes I tried eveything (cache related, looking for broken url’s, resaving permalinks etc) . I’m really at a dead-end now. I will attach a login in a secure note also.

A bit more context is probably handy, so attached is a screenshot from the homepage, on the right side should be showing up the products from the category ‘Downwinders’ before I changed the slug it showed up there. Also the other categories are still showing.

Change {{dc:term:name}} to {{dc:term:slug}} and you should be good. It looks like product_cat is always expecting the slug for the query string and it was working coincidentally before. Have a great day!
